‍Spotlight on Lauren North

It’s a challenge for me as an author with a new pen name to gain visibility so I’m grateful to several talented and respected authors – some I know personally; some I don’t know at all – who provided wonderful early reviews of An Ordinary House.

‍As a thank you to them for taking time out of their busy schedules to read and write about my book, I’m featuring each author on my blog with a spotlight on their work.

‍Lauren North studied psychology before moving to London where she worked for many years. She now lives with her family in the Suffolk countryside.

‍She writes psychological suspense novels that delve into the darker side of relationships and families. Lauren is an author I didn’t know so I was thrilled when she read and reviewed An Ordinary House. Since then, I have started reading her back catalogue - very good indeed.

I only came back home to lie low and reconnect with my sister Bryony. But my once bubbly sister’s skin is pale, her hair dull, her eyes unfocussed. She tells me her husband Alex has turned obsessive, controlling her every move.
